family reunion

The Philadelphia Family Pride Family Matters Conference has been a valued tradition for LGBTQ+ led families and LGBTQ+ prospective parents throughout the Philadelphia region. We welcome and appreciate all kinds familial connections. We embrace a broad range of parenting experiences as well as LGBTQ+ folks seeking to become parents, wherever they are in their journey.
Our 13th Annual Family Matters Conference took place as a hybrid event during the evenings of Thurs. Nov. 3rd and Friday, Nov. 4th on Zoom and during the day on Saturday Nov. 5th in person, outside at the Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.
The theme was "Family Reunion" with sessions for parents on topics about reconnecting; our inheritance, traditions and heritage as LGBTQ-led families; exploring and navigating the paths to parenthood for prospective parents.
The conference is our biggest educational event of the year. If you'd like to volunteer to help us plan and run the conference in 2023, please let us know! You can email us at info@phillyfamilypride.org.
Cost for the event was a pay-what-you-can sliding scale of $0-$100 per household. All amounts are valued. Registration fees go to pay for this event and programming for LGBTQ+-led families year round.
