accessibility & covid safety information
- The School of the Future and its two associated parking lots are ADA accessible. There is an elevator to travel between the two floors of the building and a ramp down into the sunken cafeteria.
- Every level of the building has gender-aligned, stall bathrooms with one accessibility stall in each. There are large, single-use, gender neutral fully-accessible bathrooms next to the gym.
- A sensory room was available for anyone needing a break from noise and the large group.
- ASL interpretation was provided for the keynote speaker. Please note when you register if you would like to request ASL for other sessions. The ASL service needs to be notified with the number of interpreters we need by Oct. 7.
- COVID Statement: PFP wants to protect the most at-risk amongst us, thus we are asking adults to wear face masks indoors except when eating or drinking.
Masks are recommended, but optional for kids and presenters while they are speaking.
The Philadelphia Department of Public Health will have masks and free COVID tests available on-site for all. If the weather allows, we will move some of our smaller sessions, the choir program, and lunch outside.
Please be mindful and respectful of others’ needs for space and continued COVID safety. Thank you for your commitment to keeping everyone safe and making this event accessible for all.
- If there are other accommodations you need, please let us know when you register and we will do our best to assist.
